 How Fast Does Your Loan Officer Act On Your Messages??? 

In today’s world of real estate sales, time is money and service is KING!!!  Are you and your customers getting the service and response times that are paramount to stay on top in this business with your current lending referrals???  Recent statistics show that this is probably not happening.  A recent study showed that over 74% of loan officers do not respond to emails, text messages or phone messages in less than 2 hours.  They are probably the same loan officers who do not take your calls during the weekends either.  I have to say that this surprises me and what surprises me more is that the same agents probably continue to refer the same sources for lending providers expecting a different result or they believe that this  sort of response time is acceptable.  The bottom  line is that this should not be tolerated.  What message does this send to your buyer???  They are not important enough to get the courtesy of a returned phone call, email or text message in a two hour time frame???  I understand that loan officers do have a life  outside the lending world and there are times when they certainly are unable to return a call within two hours. However, if that is the case, they should have a message stating when they will be available and when they will be able to return the call.  This is not just for the initial call between buyer and loan officer but throughout the loan process.  In most cases, this will be the largest purchase your buyer has ever made...they are tense...scared and need answers when they call and they need them quickly.  The lenders and vendors you refer are a direct reflection on you and the odds of your buyer referring you to their friends will rise exponentially if your lender and vendor referrals answer your clients questions quickly. 

For those of you who know me, you know if I don’t return a call in 2 hours...I am either dead or have contracted some disease that has me quarantined from the rest of the world.  All lenders pretty much have the same loan products and are close on rates.  The difference is World Class Customer Service and response times to not only your questions but your customers’ questions.  For those of you who have become loyal referral sources, I thank you and I promise not only to continue to provide you World Class Service but will continue to improve upon it.  For those of you who have not used me on a regular basis…Try my services and those of CBC and I promise you that you will truly see the difference.
